osprey

The osprey is in the Little Miami River again. He seems to stop by our senic valley for a couple of weeks in the spring and fall. Obviuosly on his way to another destination. But it is always a thrill to see the 6 foot wing span glideing along. The osprey is the only raptor to dive in head first for it's prey. Considered by Native Americans to be a gift from the water and sky beings. so keep your eye's to the sky.
