Looking for a great canoe camping trip in the north woods, but not to long a drive. Check out the AuSable River in northern lower Michigan. Starting at Grayling and running all the way to Lake Huron. My favorite stretch is from Mio to 4001 bridge landing. Running thru the Huron National Forest. Lots of great campsites and crystal clear water. Check out michigan.org for more info.
